FAQ

Parking & Road Closures

Parking will be available at:
• Maitland Regional Athletics Centre
• Harold Gregson Reserve

Half Marathon participants are encouraged to park in the Harold Gregson Reserve area.

Please note sections of Odd Street and Hunter Street will be closed during the event. We kindly ask participants and spectators not to park in these areas.

Allow extra travel time on race morning as traffic around the venue may be busier than usual. Runners in the 12,8 and 4km races arriving after 7.00am should approach the centre from the northern (Railway Station) end of High St, to avoid the half marathon road crossing traffic point near Abbott St.

Aid Stations & Facilities

Aid stations will be located approximately every 3km throughout the course and will provide both water and electrolyte drinks.

Toilet facilities are available within the Maitland Regional Athletics Centre. There are no toilets located directly on the 4km course loop. If participants need to access the facilities during their event, please ensure you leave and re-enter the course at the same point.

Qualified medical personnel will be positioned throughout the event and available if required.

Food & Coffee

Our friends from Rotary East Maitland will once again be assisting throughout the morning with course marshalling, drink stations and food services.

Happy Mobile Cafe will also be on site serving coffee throughout the event precinct.
