H Events is proud to announce our new venue partner for the Winery Running Festival as Wandin at Lovedale in the Hunter Valley of NSW. After cancelling the event in 2020 due to COVID restrictions, our popular recreational running event is set to return to the Hunter for its 15th anniversary on Sunday 18^th July 2021. The event will offer a 1/2 marathon, 10.5km and 5km running events and our traditional Kids Marathon 2km event. The new venue offers wonderful facilities attached to the cricket pavilion, with Wandin Estate set to offer a range of food and beverage options for the participants and spectators on event day. There will be a festival atmosphere, with the event expected to attract over 2000 runners. The event will of course be subject to COVID and other approvals. 

After searching the Hunter area for an appropriate venue, allowing a great Winery event setting and critical access to closable road infrastructure, we are exciting to have found Wandin, with its classic replica of the Lords Pavilion and Cricket oval. After consultation with the local resident and accommodation community, we are certain that Wandin  and Lovedale will provide a long-term future to rebuild this event after the COVID crisis.
