MAITLAND TRIATHLON
EVENT POSTPONEMENT DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER FORECASTS

After considering the severe weather warnings forecast for Eastern NSW and in consultation with our local Emergency Services, Council, Police, Traffic Controllers, Water Safety, Event Marshals and TriNSW officials, we have deemed it unsafe to stage the event on Sunday 9 Oct. The event will be postponed to 12 March 2023. We trust that the rediculous weather patterns from the past 2 years may be behind us by then!

Please be assured we have not made this desicion lightly. After 2.5 years of COVID and rain events forcing many cancelations and postponements, we DO NOT want this, however changes to the forecast conditions in the past 48 hours are not ambiguous and predict 100% chance of heavy rain over the whole weekend.

Entrants have until 29 Jan 2023 to withdraw and receive a refund minus a $10 processing fee.

The good news is....we did not put a date on our shirts and medals..... so check out the BLING for next time!!

Thanks to the Councillors and Staff of Maitland City Council for assisting make this event a huge success. Check them out below.
