Local adventure man Stu Adams is keen to make it a clean sweep when he revisits the sand dunes of Stockton for the third time on Sunday 6 Nov. After taking out the Big Beach Challenge, 15km run in conjunction with the international surfing competition 'Surfest' at Merewether in February, Adams is keen to keep his unbeaten sand running record intact. Adams is well know for his uncanny ability to win events in difficult conditions. In a straight road race, Adam can hold his own, but put him in sand or mud or rough terrain and he has a sixth sense on how to navigate the best and quickest path. Adams will be at the pointy end of what is expected to be the biggest field yet in the events 3 year history. Local event organiser Paul Humphreys of H Events, is confident that the 'run saavy' Hunter community will be out in droves to take on the course. in what will no doubt become a long term annual event.
