Event Location - Speers Point Park, Lake Macquaire

Speers Point Park is the city's premier recreation space featuring open space, shared pathways, a paved promenade, a fenced dog exercise area and the all-abilities Lake Macquarie Variety Playground.

    1. 9.00am - Lake Macquarie Aquathlon (1km swim and 5km run)
    2. 10.15am - Lake Macquarie Open Water Swim ( 2km and 1km courses)
    3. 10.00am - 4.30pm - Sport Expo and Race Breifing/ Kit Collection
  3. Sunday 17 March - Lake Macquarie Triathlons

    3. 9.00am - Short Course

1.For non members of Australia Triathlon (NSW Triathlon) prices do not include the One Day Membership fee.

2.Processing fees are not included in the price and will be shown at the window before you proceed.

3.All finishers receive a finishers medal.

4.All entrants can purchase a discounted cool/dry event T Shirt for just $15.

5.Relay teams can be 2 or 3 members doing 1 or 2 legs each.

Friday 15 Mar – Out of the Sun Run

Saturday 16 Mar – Aquathlon and Open Water Swim

PRIZE MONEY

Prize money is available for overall winners both male and female in the Sprint and Standard Distance Triathlon events as follows:

Standard Distance Event.

1st Prize - $1000, 2nd Prize - $500, 3rd Prize - $250

Sprint Distance Event.

1st Prize - $250, 2nd Prize - $150, 3rd Prize - $100

Prize money will be paid via EFT within 7 days of the event. Contenders should be able to provide bank account details on race day or email details to the Event Director.

Age categories medals for 1,2,3 place will be via TriNSW standard age categories, with male and female:
