NEWFLASH FOR NewRUN - small course change

This year the event will NOT run onto the sea-wall of the Nobby;s Breakwall. This is the bit with ocean both sides. The 700m in distance will be regained by moving the main western turn point from Wharf Rd to the Honeysuckle Foreshore. Great spot to turn and a great spot for lunch afterwards. The 1/2 Marathon runner will go another 550m past this, on the start of their event.

NewRun and 10 reasons why you should try running 10km

Anyone can run on a road but take on the Bay Adventure’s Summer Run and you will be venturing into ‘badge of honour’ territory. There is nothing boring about this 11km all-terrain course, which features 1km on the beach, 3km on pathways, 1km of gravel track and a 6km dog track. Oh, and did we mention it was hilly! Australia Day Swim Newcastle CANCELLED
