Mine Super NewRun - Date - Postponement - COVID 19 STATEMENT as at 18 March 2020

Hi Racers
New Date for Mine super NewRun – SUNDAY 2nd AUGUST 2020
As announced on Monday, due to the COVID19 virus crisis, we have selected a new date to stage this event.
With the nature of this health crisis such that we are expecting a lengthy disruption to all our daily lives, we have allowed almost 20 weeks for the crisis to normalise. We eagerly hope this is enough time for the event to go ahead.
Like many other small/family run businesses in our community, H Events hopes that all our valued athletes can be understanding and flexible, given the unanticipated nature of what we are all facing in the world right now!
We want to thank our sponsors, local approval stakeholders, staff, suppliers and volunteer groups for their flexibility and loyalty.

The Event organisers are aware of the recent bush fires and subsequent effect on air quality. Our condolences go out to those who have been affected. We are, of course, conscious of making sure that athletes are not put in any unreasonable risk due to the air quality, however it is impossible to predict what the air quality will be like this far out from the event date. This will be affected by further fires and wind direction. We will continue to assess the conditions make an assessment of the risk 7 days out from the event. We will take advice from weather and medical experts. If you have any concerns please contact us on paul@hevents.com.au
