City of Newcastle
The City of Newcastle is a harbour city in the Australian state of New South Wales. Its plentiful beaches are linked by the Bathers Way, a coastal walk stretching between Nobbys Beach and Merewether Beach. The walk provides access to Bogey Hole, a convict-built ocean bath from the colonial period. Also on the path is the 1880s Fort Scratchley, a historic site and a viewpoint for spotting migrating whales.

Oceania Triathlon Union
The Oceania Triathlon Union shall:
Control, foster and promote participation in the sport of triathlon, duathlon and aquathlon in Oceania through the maintenance of friendly and loyal cooperation amongst its Members;
Encourage inclusion of Oceania Region in international triathlon, duathlon and aquathlon;
Encourage Members to host triathlon, duathlon and aquathlon events at all levels;
Facilitate sports development in the region including coaching education, technical official’s education, event management, and governance; and
Encourage the provision of appropriate facilities for participation in triathlon, duathlon and aquathlon
Newcastle Triathlon Club
The Newcastle Triathlon Club was formed in 1987. This membership includes juniors, novices, family and very experienced triathletes who have competed in a multitude of local, interstate, and overseas triathlons and duathlons.These include the:Australian Ironman Triathlon, Forster-Tuncurry & Port Macquarie NSW; ITU Long Course Triathlon World Championships; and Ironman Triathlon World Championships, Kona, Hawaii. The Newcastle Triathlon Club is the longest established triathlon club in Newcastle and is affiliated with the NSW Triathlon Association.The club objectives are to: Promote triathlon and related sporting events; Encourage and promote health and well-being of our members, their families, and visiting triathletes; Provide training ideas/programs for our members and visitors; Develop aspiring athletes; and Promote organisations that support us.The core functions of the club are organised by the club committee, who are elected annually by the membership and abide by the club constitution. All members, family and friends volunteer their time to support the club in keeping everyone up to date with club happenings, running monthly club races, running coaching and training groups, putting on social events, updating our website and Facebook page.
Maitland Tri club
Maitland Tri Club is a small to medium sized club who meet once a month and have an annual membership of 300. A large number of our members include parents with their children. The family unit is a valued feature of our club and it is common for both parents to participate with their children at club events. Many of our juniors have gone on to represent Australia in the sport of Triathlon at an International level. Our member’s abilities range from novices, who are happy to attend our Club races once a month right through to athletes who regularly travel throughout Australia and Internationally to compete.
Our club is very successful in catering for the full range of abilities possessed by our members of all ages.
